I just realize I haven't done this in a while. School and work really took a toll on my blogging mojo, but it doesn't mean I can't still give you summaries on things I love in the past two weeks. Here they are!
On Music :
- Music Projects. I have recorded three new songs called Down To The Sound, Chasing and Through The Wall. The last two aren't entirely finished since they're a collaboration between me and an R&B singer here, he hasn't recorded his part yet. Sadly, they're included in songs I can't leak online for my future solo album. I've leaked enough songs online, check my website to hear them. Any more songs I will record from now on will strictly stay in the studio, unless we have another promo / campaign. BOO. So far I have 3 to 5 new beats to work on too, wish me luck on that.
- Performing every weekend. I was performing last week in Blowfish for D'Makaveli's Coast2Coast with Lloyd along with DJ Crusador, this DMC champ from Australia. His juggling skill is insane. Sound system wasn't too good but I got the audience sing my hooks and scream my name. That's cool right? And last Friday for Christmas, I performed in Buddha Bar. ALONE. Only with a DJ ( Mali ) , who did sick scratching on the beats. I was pretty drunk but it went alright since a lot of people shouted, waved their hand, and screamed semi-dirty words per my command. The general manager of the place also gave compliment on my performance. BLUSHING HERE. I didn't blush for long because then these sexy dancers dressed in two-pieces itty bitty santa's helpers outfits dragged me for a dance. I felt guilty bringing my underage brother. He was completely wasted and got two dancers practically shoving hoohas on his face. I'm an awesome, no? Pictures?

Me and my brother, Danny, pre-sexy dancers lapdance. - Getting my song in HardcoreJamz.Com Top Songs chart. HardcoreJamz is an internet online hip-hop radio with around 35.000 listeners a day. A couple weeks ago they featured my song, Got The Feeling, in their Hot New Song section and last week I found out my song made it to the Top Song List. I'm so psyched being the only Asian there, the only femcee too. I wanna keep being in the chart so if you have the time please request my song by clicking here. It only takes 2 minutes tops. - More upcoming gigs. So far, I have 3 gigs waiting in January 2010. On the 10th, I will be performing with a bunch of rappers for the 2nd edition of Block Battles. On the 18th, I will hopefully perform in Buddha Bar again and on the 22nd, I'll perform in the next Coast2Coast along with Max Glazer. You guys know who that is? He's a DJ. For RIHANNA. I kid you not. I'm so excited!

On Other Things :
- Avatar. Best movie of the year for me. Hands down. I love everything about it and I don't mind learning to speak Na'vi. I think those aliens are SEXY. Some people complained about the plot and they didn't even do their research. James Cameron wanted the story to not be complicated because the whole effects and settings are already complicated, morons. I was almost in a trance watching the movie, wishing I was in that forest or flying on the back of humongous Toruk Makto. I know. I'm such a dork.
- September Issue. I've heard about the movie since last June but never really got a chance to watch it until today. I like it! The photo shoots are all so pretty and the collections, DIE. This made me wish to go to a fashion school and not law school. I can't believe Bee Shaffer, Anna Wintour's daughter, opted to study law instead. Woman! Trade?
- Passing 300 Blogger Followers Mark. Welcome to Insomniac Lolita, new readers. I hope you enjoy reading about my life and its randomness.
