1. My new glasses
Remember I told you I need a pair earlier this week? I put an order, picked it up last Friday and wow, I CAN SEE EVERYTHING AGAIN. Reading and watching movies have never been this enjoyable. I even love the glasses. You're right, glasses = hot. As long as you don't let your old-fashioned mom chooses it for you. Here's a picture I took on the way home from the optical store :

2. Shopping...for days!
This week's shopping put previous weeks shopping to shame, I should be embarrassed. I'd like to plead not guilty though, because I would be less likely to shop if the people I'm with didn't start it first. See, my brother Danny was looking for jeans and jackets earlier this week, so I also got a new pair of jeans, make ups, and dresses. The next day my mom was shopping for office clothes, I spotted necklaces and earrings at a store next door. And last Thursday, Me and Angga went to a mall since he needed to go to a book store. But then we passed this cool boutique selling killer lace-up booties, jackets, and discounted tops. What's a girl to do, huh?
3. Club Zen
She went back to her village 3 weeks ago, her mom was sick. So for the past 3 weeks I relied on take-outs, delivery, or just eat out altogether during meal times. My parents had taken turns trying to cook, major fail. Other maids can't too. So when she showed up with her bags late Friday night, I couldn't stop squealing. My stomach can be happy again.
5. Movie + Wedding Date
Angga picked me up to see a play today but we went to the movies instead to see Green Zone. We had lunch at a Japanese eatery beforehand and it was fun. Green Zone turned out to be a very enjoyable movie. Matt Damon gave an astounding performance. I'm usually not a fan of war movies, unless it's set in different planets with crazy special effects and fictional creatures ( Hello, Avatar and Star Trek! ). We went to his close friend's wedding afterward, a huge beautiful reception in one of the 5-Star hotels here. Met a few friends and tried a few creamy desserts. Lovely day.
One of the best news of the week, I don't care what haters say. If loving his overly commercial and slightly degrading songs are wrong, I don't wanna be right. Pre-sale tickets are out next Thursday and I'll be getting some of those babies. I'll have my driver queue from 7 AM if I have to. I wrote here that the promoter was looking for an opening act and I've sent my demo CD + press kit, with the supports from many amazing people as you can see here and here. I'll still watch him whether I open or not, though. I know almost every lyric to most of his songs, despite 60% of them are in Spanish. And dirty. HA.

What made you happy this week? Wishing you more happiness for the upcoming one!

Agreed. Glasses = hot. And your cook is back. Congratulations. ;)
