Sneezing and coughing with body temperature sky-rocketing but I'm back and can't be happier. The previous week had kicked my butt big time. I have no doubt this week will too. I almost didn't get any rest over the weekend. AT ALL.
It was fun though, Saturday and Sunday especially.
Last Friday my girls asked me out for a few drinks after work and I so looked forward to it but then I had an extra work to be submitted the next morning. Friday night was sulking, typing sleepily on my laptop, having my mom massaged my neck ( she's the best!) because I threw up twice due to exhaustion and stress. To call it ugly is an understatement.
Saturday was spent attending one of the biggest dance festivals in the country, Djakarta Warehouse Project. It's held in Carnaval Beach with internationally well-known DJ's like Ferry Corsten, Kaskade, Dash Berlin, Marco V, Shortee Blitz and many more in the line ups. Now I know the older I get, the more I avoid rave-like parties but somehow it's not like a typical one where you'll be pissed walking around until your muscles hurt on a muddy ground with a thousand sweaty and drunk people nearby.
It's actually really civilized. Easily accessible affordable food+drinks, no wet grounds, huge dance space, insanely good lightning and the most important thing... overall good crowd. It's such a buzz kill to attend a party filled with annoying trashy people. Not the case that night. A few high lights?
This dance area. There were three and I love this one the most. The colors and effects were amazing! Sunday I was working my own gig, Block Battles, until around 1 AM or so. I can't believe it's our fifth installment already. AMAZING. I helped organizing the event instead of performing. We had 32 artists performing that night. So many talents to find and it's their opportunity to shine. More pictures?
Now can someone help me catch up on the happenings of our beloved blogosphere these days? Has someone finally made a Louboutin giveaway which, ahem, also opens for Non-US residents? Aaaaaaaaaarrghhhhh, HOW ARE YOU?

Looks like a great time!
