Bliss

As much as I enjoy parties, gatherings and social events, I often need some peace and quite to come to my senses. I like spending time alone while reading, drawing (hope to finally have some time to pick it up again) or just browsing the sea of internet. Spending time with my boyfriend has the same, soothing effect on me. We're on the same page with everything, so spending time with him comes effortlessly.

Besides the fact that too frequent contact with some people, leaves me drained, I need to watch my health, as I get sick quite fast. So I need to take it easy, which I mostly don't. At times like these I like to retreat in my shell. So now, I'm still sitting in my pjs and ready to crawl back in bed with a good book and take a nap afterward. 

I don't really know why I typed all of this. It's just going to be a random post, with housy stuff. 

Speaking about houses, I need to clean my room ASAP! Chaos is the best word to describe it right now.

And this is the princess of the house. My boyfriend's cat, is the most incredible cat a person can wish for. She loves me and comes to cuddle and sleep with me. When my cat just hates me.

She can be called a 'cosy cat', she likes all places cosy :)

Purple haze

While I'm already back at college full time (and not happy about it) I still am thinking of the warm holidays I had for three weeks. We were blessed with exceptional weather, it even felt like summer. I even have a little tan now, well, maybe just a normal skin color.

Not only I will remember the weather, but all of the wonderful days I spent with my bf and friends.

This has been one unforgettable spring break and I have my mind set on summer already.

Unfortunately the weather is back to being gray and rainy, as well as my mood due to endless deadlines. But at least I always have my memories to treasure and the weekends to look forward to.

Here's a little review of my past weekend. Sun, soap bubbles and love is apparently all I need, well and a nice song to listen too.

Paradise

School has just started again and things have been a bit hectic around here, so I've been missing out on the blogging field... But back now.

This sunday I visited the biggest European floral exhibition, called the Floraliën.

It took place in Ghent.

The venue of the exhibition was huge, I've never seen so much beautiful flowers in my life.

The ideas some designers came up with were incredible. This was one big inspirational trip for me.

It really stunned me how creative designers were with all sorts of plants, flowers, trees, ...

I really got an Alice In Wonderland feel there.

Off course this was the perfect occasion to debut the famous H&M rose jacket from the Garden Collection. This was definitely one of best buys I ever made!

The Brussels Atomium rebuild in flowers.

This ball of flowers was huge, and so impressive. Didn't even look real.

Must have been a lot of work to put together something impeccably symmetric.

This sort of Bamboo is able to grow 30 cm a day. The exhibition runs one week...

This tree in a box was the most surreal thing of the venue. It looked like a tree in a mist, which reminded me a lot of Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow".

I bet Veronique Branquinho, knowing her obsession with trees, would have liked it too.

This orchid chess game was Alice in Wonderland meats Breaking Dawn cover (Twilight series).

Such white orchid "bridge" would be perfect for a wedding.
