Ramble, Ramble, Ramble

Brooke ( and a couple of people in my facebook ), tagged me in this 25 things about me meme. Apparently it’s spread all over the blogosphere now. Since I’m spending Friday night just chilling and relaxing in my room, intending to do a marathon of Supernatural with yummy Winchester Brothers, I’m gonna give this meme a shot and pretend my life is actually interesting for people to actually read them, ha!

Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits or goals about you. Then tag 25 people, including the person who tagged you.

  1. My favorite color is purple, any kind of purple.. I decorate my room purple and have too many accessories with this color. Black is my second favorite color.
  2. I usually eat Nutella on Toast with a big mug of coffee for breakfast. Or brunch in my case, since I usually wake up late.
  3. I really, really wanna punch the girls from The Hills in the face. Now I know some of you might be their fans and now might feel like you wanna strangle me.
  4. I hate my school and I can’t wait to graduate. Sadly, it’s still long and the more I get lazy the longer I will be stuck there. Yikes.
  5. I bought at least a dress per week. I’m obsessed with them but since people should minimize splurging ( blah blah..) I think I will start rotating my weekend dresses.
  6. Me and my two friends plan to open a Mexican bar someday. That’s because it’s rare here and I crave good Mexican food a lot ever since some of my friends in LA took me to a local Mexican joint once while I was there.
  7. I barely wear jeans. No kidding.
  8. I love horse back riding. I fell from a horse once and got stitches in one arm but I still never say no to it.
  9. My favorite type of coffee is usually either Hazelnut or Caramel latte, but there’s this one local coffee shop that serves really good Frappe Rhumba with whipped cream, strong rum and crushed chocolate. I’m hooked.
  10. I can’t understand why some people view clubbing and partying like they’re really wrong things to do. I also wonder why they label others who like it as bad. I love them and I don’t think it makes me a bad person. Why should some people be so judgmental? I don’t diss them for staying at home or do other things they like, do I?
  11. I go for a massage at a spa or good massage parlor at least once a week. My favorite is refloxology massage at this place called Kenko.
  12. I believe ghosts exist and I’m afraid of them, hence I never turn the lights off when I sleep alone. I’m such a wimp.
  13. But it never stops me to watch a scary horror movie like the original Ju On, The Eye and The Ring. The Ring made me put my TV outside in the study room. :P
  14. I have over 80 Barbie dolls as a kid, plus the house, the car, etc. They’re now divided fairly for my cousins.
  15. When people ask me how I learn how to rap and make my own songs, I’m puzzled. It feels natural to me to do those and I like it so I don’t know.
  16. My first acting experience was in one of these local drama shows as a reporter. And my first commercial was for this local Chocolate product, Swiss Miss, when I was 5 years old.
  17. My first serious modeling work was for a fashion spread in Cosmo Girl Indonesia when I was in high school.
  18. I have performed in more than 200 events for the past 5 years and all of them were very meaningful to help me improve myself, even the bad ones.
  19. I can dance pretty well. Hiphop, reggaeton, and salsa mostly.
  20. I purr when people rub my tummy, very cat-like. I know.
  21. One of my weakness is ridiculously good looking men with beautiful eyes. And sexy accents *ahem*.
  22. I feel restless during the day and super hyper when the sun sets. I’m only sleepy when it’s light out there, that’s just the inner vampire in me I suppose.
  23. I have two younger brothers and I'm the oldest girl. I love them very much, no matter how many times they annoy me.
  24. I don’t really like soda. Maybe that’s why I don’t get when people tell me how hard it is to quit drinking it. I personally only drink it when it’s mixed with liquors.
  25. I’m usually a very easy person to talk to, but try not talking to me when I seriously watch a movie. I might be a very different person then.
Now let me pass this on by tagging these 25 lovely people :

Wow, I've never tagged that many people in my life before. Haha. Anyone can do this too though, even if I haven't tagged you, just consider yourself tagged :).

So what's everyone up to this weekend? Have a good one, whatever you do.

feeling good :)

Today has been pretty much a nice day for me, despite I woke up so late due to sleeping at 9 am.

Here's a bit of recap :

* I met with one of the local beat makers here because I want to make some new songs. Angga set the meeting up after getting recommendations from some of our friends. At first, I felt indifferent because I have a particular taste on how my music suppose to sound. I don't even like some of my songs, some of them are too common hip-hop for me although people love them when I perform. A couple of days ago, I texted him to say I want 90 bpm beats with strings to see what he could come up with. And when I listened to them today, I completely drooled. The beats have 9th Wonder vibes to them. Finally. A beat maker who understands what I want.

* When I went home, I wrote lyrics instantly like a beast for that new song. It's finished in an hour. I guess I was just so hyped up about it. How dorky is that? And no, it's not a kinky song. If it was, it would be finished in 10 minutes. I'm in my all grown up and mature mood :P. Yes I know by stating like that proves how immature I am actually. But I'm just so excited to finish the song, maybe I will upload it in my myspace when it's finished. Haha.

* One of my friends is so sweet for sending me this picture when she found out I'm a bit sick.

Amazing. Chad White get well picture message, I'm pretty embarrassed to find out that people do know my developing fascinations to male models, whatever their sexual orientations might be.

* More of my interview questions are answered and posted by some of the bloggers I stalk daily. Check Nitya's blog and The Manhattan Transfer. I had fun reading them.

* My previous post made me check my stat counter again today and found another keyword. Apparently someone in Middletown, Ohio, was typing "Lolita Underpants Porn" in his / her search engine and found my blog. Good gracious, where's my tequila?

* D'Makaveli are gonna watch Quentin Harris spinning this Saturday at Dragonfly. Yay. Angga said we got a table too. So, anybody a fan? Anybody plans to go? I'm personally looking forward to it. People party better when it's not their gigs. Less drama. less people calling frantically for guest lists, that's for sure.

Updated, let me add one more thing :

* I just saw this music video from Bang Di ( Ojink ) and Sally on their song "Chill Time". Damn, I'm so proud of them, the video is as good as the song. They shot Jakarta very well in it. If you wanna see my city at night, and my talented friends rapping and singing, check the video below. MUST CHECK, people. And you can listen to some of their works here and here.

How about you, my dearies? What's happening today?

Chilly and Random

First of all, let me begin this post by thanking my friends and fellow bloggers for their encouraging words and insights in my previous post. I really appreciate them. My dad is currently posting an ad and calling some of his friends to look for a new driver but since it usually takes some time, I'll have to be ready at 5.30 or 6 am everyday to drive my mom to work. And since I can never sleep until early morning, I'll just sleep after I drop her off. This will do, at least before school starts.

Anyway, it's been pretty chilly in Jakarta these days. The rain I like comes more often lately and make the temperature drops. Resulting me covering myself with blanket and bed covers and turn the air conditioner off. Foolishly, I forgot to bring a jacket or wear warmer clothes when I went out. In case you're wondering what the temperature is, it's 25 C / 77 F. Might not be cold at all for people who live in four seasons countries. But I'm a kid from the tropic, this kind of weather makes me want nothing but curling up in a warm blanket.

And here I am, at 1 am in the morning covered from head to toe, blogging on my bed, checking my stat counter and laughing at my keyword analysis. I just installed this widget around two weeks ago but there are already some funny keywords people typed in their search engines before they found this blog. Here are some of them :

insomniac lolita - Oh hello, you found me. How may I help you?

Bruno Santos - HAHA. Yeah, he's gorgeous, isn't he? Here, go right click, save this image to your computer and drool for days.

robin thicke
- Oh yes. You like his baby making, feel good music too?

tiny lola porn - You've come to the right place! Kidding! Man, what's wrong with you???

i'm so random - ME TOO. A lot of posts in this blog have proven that theory.

rock n rolla russians - They're adorable, me thinks. Trying to get a revenge by stripping and finally wearing just underpants and police caps after stuffing the main character's mouth with a sock.

little lolita - DUDE! Well I should've known using this blog title will attract some pedophiles *shudder*. Dude, Leave the poor little girls alone.

are you a rock n rolla - Yes I am ;).

russian rock n rolla - Again? I don't know so many things about Russians, sorry. Let alone Russian rock n rolla. But I can speak with very thick Russian accent when I'm drunk though. Wanna hear?

a real rock n rolla wants the fuckin everything - My goodness. And I just posted about the movie once. You want Rock n Rolla? Click here and here, okay? Afterwards come back and read about my rock n rolla-ish life. Ha!

rap song about kinky - Ah yeah. I rap and make songs, and my thoughts are pretty much kinky. Guilty.

le privee in jakarta, indonesia - It's in the second floor of Plaza Indonesia, dear. Nice taste of fashion, by the way. Splurge on this season's Herve Leger dresses when you're there, alright?

So if you're one of the people who found my blog from random keywords, welcome and take a look around. Feel free to come back or comment, that would certainly make my day. This invitation however, is not for the porn searching pedophiles above ;).

By the way, I love reading new blogs too so if you're a new visitor and have a blog, you can paste your blog url as well in the comment form.

As for my blog buddies, have you found anything funny in your keyword analysis lately? What's the most absurd words people type in search engines to find you?

On loyalties and work ethics

My dad is very grumpy today because one of our drivers, who supposedly took my mom to her office today, quit. Without notifications a few days before whatsoever. Mom was panicking this morning because nobody else could drive her, other guys were driving my two brothers to their schools and my dad's already left. She showed up in my room around 5.30 am, thought I just woke up although I haven't slept all night and told me to drive her to work. Do you know how it feels to drive sleepily so early in the morning in Jakarta's notorious traffic jam? Not nice.

I wonder what made Rahman ( the said driver ) did that. All of a sudden. My parents paid him more than most families here pay their drivers. He got allowance too. Me and my brother often slipped him cigarette / pre-paid phone voucher money. He couldn't at least be brave enough to show up for the last time and told my dad he didn't want to work for us anymore?

I know. You could never expect people to do what you expect them to. When you're good to people, you can't expect them to do the same to you. But it doesn't mean it's not upsetting when it happens. I have to be ready in two hours to drive my mom to work again today, and here I am still up on my bed due to my weird sleeping patterns. I will be restless. Again. Just like today.

But it made me thinking on how I should respect people who have been there for me and my family more. People who are good to us all these times, because look how easy things can turn around. We liked Rahman, he's funny and entertaining. He's worked for us these past few years, but he could do something like this. I personally lost my respect to him entirely.

It reminds me of one story from Angga about the early years of D'Makaveli, back on 2002 or something. Him and a bunch of his friends formed the event organizer and had been through a lot together to turn it into a powerful and famous one. But after a few years, his own best friend in the team turned everyone against him and left to make another event organizer. He's only left with another founder. Without even a DJ, because his best friend took all of them.

So they started everything again from the beginning, experiencing darkest periods, being more cautious and slowly climbing their way to the top again. They got more people, new DJs, even new rappers *ahem*. The company is now established, we have more events and offers. And a couple of DJs who left from the early team even shamelessly asked Angga if they could spin in our parties again. He said no without thinking twice, although they're really good DJs. I believe his exact words are, "I don't care if they're talented. There's no quality from the people I work with that I value more than their loyalties."

I agree completely. Be good to people, but never be good to people who aren't good to you.

50 cent, despite how much I hate him, actually said something worth remembering about being betrayed and not giving any 2nd chance to other people who does it to you :

"If it happens once, it's their fault. But if it happens twice, it's certainly yours."

Any thoughts? Any similar experiences? Tell me all about it below.

ps. For a less serious matter, check my interview questions for The Girl In Stiletto here. She's very funny and answered everything creatively.

Tale of The Rabbit in Chinese New Year.

Gong Xi Fa Cai!! I believe I haven't written it in my previous posts. How was it going in all the parts of the world? Because it sure was celebrated all out in Jakarta. I've never seen that much red in other times of the year.

I didn't get to visit any of my Chinese friends, or my dad's Chinese clients. BUMMER! My mom jokingly said that they would know if a non-Chinese came not only for the sake of visiting. And they would sniff my intentions of enjoying traditional foods ( guilty ) and probably getting some cash too ( 1/2 guilty ) because don't they always nicely give money in cute red envelopes for unmarried visitors this time of the year? Two years ago, I even got enough money to splurge on a Chanel purse. ARGH. I love Chinese new year and my mom deserved a boo for saying that to me.

But it doesn't mean I didn't have fun today and witnessed some great festivities.

Being a good daughter and sister that I am ( haha ), I took my mom and brothers to the mall ( Plaza Senayan for my fellow Jakarta friends ). They had this great traditional attractions with dragon dancings and such right in the center of the mall. I nudged a few people to see. I might be short but I give good wedgies if necessary. Soon enough I was at the front, clapping like a fascinated idiot.

After 20 minutes of clapping, my mom dragged me to MAC store because she needed a foundation. Then she asked me what I wanted. "Mom I thought you never asked" was my response then I proceeded to collect a compact powder, a lipstick, a mascara, and an eyeliner. At this point, I forgave her completely for mocking all my excitements to join the new year celebration.

We browsed a few more shops and found nothing tempting enough to buy then had dinner consisting of sushi and green tea ice cream. Apparently most good Chinese restaurants there had a really long waiting list and we came unprepared. Bye bye new year dumplings. Le sigh.

What did you do for the day? Is Chinese new year celebrated big in your country? Did you have today off because of it? Share with me in the comments.

Massive Interviews!!

I'm not the person who checks emails regularly. It's bad I know, and I will change that because apparently I found better stuff there to0 aside all those boring Facebook notifications. For example, interview questions to be posted on my blog *cheering*.

Erin from It's Just Me, E.Wiggle™, Talia from adventures of a starving artist, and Princess Pointful from ...and hijink ensued each emailed me 5 questions in different times this month. It made me sound like interview addicts and resulting me having to answer 15 questions but it's all good. Me likes! And thanks a bunch to them for taking time to send me questions. They all deserve a basket of cupcakes.

To start it, here are the first 5 questions from Princess Pointful :

1. What is the worst gift you've ever received?
Back in high school, my ex boyfriend gave me a mood ring. Yes, the ring that changes color depending on your mood or something. Astonished, I smiled nicely and said thanks though. And when he asked what I thought about it, I wisely said, "Ahem, clearly I've never seen anything like it." Clueless, he smiled contentedly.

2. If you had one week anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go and what would you do?
The Carribean. Seriously. Relaxing on secluded beaches, swimming with dolphins, attending local events / festivals / parties, trying local foods / cocktails, enjoying spectacular views and natures, diving, sailing, playing with speedboats / powerboats. Who wants to go with me?

3. What do you choose not to write about on your blog and why?
Probably detailed family or relationship problems, or opinions about religion and beliefs. I so don't want to get in trouble for something I wrote.

4. What celebrity do you despise?
Only one? I have my hate list here : Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Miley Cyrus, 50 Cents, and..Cinta Laura. Haha, random. The last one is 15 years old German - Indonesian version of Paris Hilton here, with fake British accent and semi punk rock / tacky R&B fashion style. Get the picture?

5. What is one thing your readers would be surprised to find out about you?
Until I was 4 years old, I didn't have a full head of hair. And the color wasn't pure black either. A bit red-ish like I was out in the sun too much. Ew.

That was fun, now here are more questions from Talia :

1. What did you want to be when you grew up? Are you becoming your dream, or has your dream changed?
I want to be a lawyer and a superstar since back in the days. Silly, I know. Now I'm in ( hopefully ) my last year of law school while at the same time pursuing my music career.

2. If you won the lottery on the condition that you couldn't keep any of the money for yourself, what would you do with it?
I'd use it to build free schools in Indonesia, also shelters for homeless people. There aren't many of that here. And kept some to give to my mom so she could buy me stuff. Ha!

3. What's the weirdest thing you've dreamt at night?
I dreamed Robert Pattinson turns out to be a gay and asked me to direct a soft porn film with Zac Efron as his co-star. No kidding, it was a couple nights ago. I woke up sweating and screaming. I'm never anti-gay ( some bromance are such a turn on ), but not in another life I would let RPattz be mauled by someone as hideous as Zac Efron. No offense to his fans.

This dream brought a question : Why if I happen to dream in my usual dreamless sleeps, it has to always be twisted and sex related, hmm?

4. If you could add a new word to the dictionary, what would it be?
Wowee. Yes of course it means wow. It's how I say wow to my friends. Not creative? I know. Or maybe Fookie Monster. It's like cookie monster, but it's not a cookie that it likes. Or vegetables.

5. Who is your favorite fictional character? Why?
Gollum from Lord of The Rings. He's cute, in a very creepy way. I wanna tickle him when he said "My precious".

Having fun? Now it's time for the last interview from Erin so read some more :

1. What is the coolest/best thing about living in Indonesia?
I can't pick one again. The country is so alive, with many variations. Many islands with different people and even different language, it's rich with cultures and splendid views. I live in Jakarta and adore this city. The entertainment, the activities, the shopping malls, the people, the foods, the parties, the lifestyle, etc. And most of the things are relatively cheap.

2. What is your favorite band/artist and why?
For rappers, I like Jean Grae and the artists from Rhymesayers Entertainment. They provide me quality hip-hop music for short. And for non rappers, I like Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Alicia Keys, and Robin Thicke. I feel like they melt me every time I listen to them.

3. What do you want to be when you "grow up?"
I want to be a successful lawyer, while at the same time being a good artist with my music.

4. What do you think is your greatest life achievement so far and why?
At first I thought my greatest achievement is got accepted in the best law school in the country. But now, I feel like my best achievement happened when I didn't give up my dreams to be a musician. I almost did, I got back stabbed by people too much back then, even now. But I gathered all the will powers I had to get up again and pushed the trauma feelings aside.

5. If you could have lunch with anyone dead or alive, who would you chose and why?
I've answered this so many times and my answer is still the same : Robert Pattinson. He's gorgeous, fabulous, messy, sarcastic, yet funny. I imagined he would trash talk a lot of people and gave snarky remarks about everything over cheese pizza and tequila shots , with his signature British accents. That would be remarkable.

That's all, now if you want to participate, these are the rules :
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me" along with your email address.
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Come and play! You know you want to.

Sane enough to blog ;)

Oh hello good evening everyone ( or very late evening ). How was your Saturday? No I'm not drunk like last week and got home early. My gardener and my maid who watched me being dropped off, were laughing heartlessly because of it. I believe their correct words are, "The gate is laughing at you, miss!"

My out and about went pretty much like this :

1st stop - Haircode. Getting my hair done, something I always do every week especially if there's an event to go to. I'm bad at using rollers or styling my hair by myself. The last time I did so, I actually burned my hair a little. My hairstylist tempted me to dye my hair a little, some highlights maybe. If I do it right maybe I can survive from looking like a total Asian tramp. Any ideas? Suggestions?

2nd stop - Foodism. Had dinner, watched Ocean 13 from the big TV. Since the restaurant / lounge is in a mall, we took time strolling around to check out some clothes and books. Spent most of my strolling time to convince myself I don't need another pair of shoes.

3rd stop - Buddha Bar. Pre drinks. Met some friends, talked a bit. Despite Buddha Bar here might not be as big as the one in Paris ( and pricier ), it's still nice. It's still serving Saigon's Dream ( it's a cocktail, vodka-based, fruity, sweet. Feel free to call me sissy again. ) so I'm good.

4th stop - Pure club. Working time for D'Makaveli. I started to pull out a phone and called friends to come. My 16 years old Brother was there with 7 or 8 friends his age. In Jakarta aparrently underage kids can get away with anything in night clubs. I acted like a super cool sister and nodded in this super cool way ( HAHA ). Then he started ordering pitchers of cocktails. Uh-oh. Then he started dancing and grinding with some girls like this big time casanova. Uh-oh. Note to self : teach the guy how to dance.

For another gig at Pure, I think we did good. But D'Makaveli guys decided it might be the last event of us there. It's nothing personal, the club is really good ( rotating club in 35th floor with views of Jakarta skylines ). But it's dying lately. The regulars started leaving, the crowds got bad. Talked about it with Angga in the car, it's so sad how a good club could fall down because of bad management and weak branding. So far we're looking for better offers out there, planning around 4 or 5 events in February.

On a lighter note, one of my cousins tagged me in a picture of our big families at a wedding. You know how tagged pictures in Facebook work right? I just found out a lot of my aunts, uncles, even my little cousins all have Facebook accounts. And they started adding me. Yikes. If I approve, how about all those stupid pictures with me intoxicated and :
- Holding a liquor bottle / glass
- Drinking from a liquor bottle
- Drinking from a pitcher
- Grabbing some girl friends butts
- Dancing on chair / table / other flat and sometimes non flat surfaces
- Other supposed-to-be censored-from-families-knowledge materials

And how if they see a link to this blog and click it? Yikes times ten. I can't reject the requests though because it wont be polite, I will despise the idea too. So, what I might do is putting them in limited profiles and customize the settings for my photo albums and basic info.

What do you think ? Will it work pretty flawlessly? Have you had the similar Facebook friend request drama experience? Tell me all about it.

And let me present you my LMAO factor of the night :

I'm so random...

...And I think my sleep deprivation caused it. It's pretty irritating being awake for so long? You know what time is it now in this part of the world ? 5 am. Now whether I sleep or not, I will be looking like a zombie for the rest of the day. D'Makaveli has an event at Pure this Saturday night too. I'll be partying with minimum energy, unless I can help it ( sleep until noon after this ).

Luckily school hasn't started yet, I have pretty much a week to adjust my sleeping pattern. I know I can't live a carefree life all the time like I've been living for these past month and a half holiday : sleep whenever, wake up whenever, do whatever. My music is the only thing lately that still requires my full attention.

But I couldn't sleep too the other night. I have bags under my eyes and so far my thoughts all day yesterday were pretty much like these below :

Time & Place : Afternoon - mid afternoon, my house
What I'm doing : Preparing to go out, messing around the house, reading blogs
What's in my head :
- Where's my coffee? I need a cup or two or three
- What I'm gonna wear this afternoon?
- Robert Pattinson vs Edward Cullen

Time & Place : Late afternoon - evening, this local restaurant ( Casa )
What I'm doing : Talking to my beloved people, having dinner, gossiping
What's in my head :
- Why are there so many people here -> who are they?
- I want Apple Sangria
- Are we going to Buddha Bar tomorrow before our event? I want to go!!
- Robert Pattinson vs Edward Cullen

Time & Place : Late evening - early morning, my house ( bedroom )
What I'm doing : Watching DVD, reading blogs, writing lyrics, browsing Facebook pictures
What's in my head :
- Employee Of The Month isn't that good of a movie
- Dane Cook is not that hot. Scratch it, I think he's not hot for sure
- Will our event be successful enough tomorrow? *panicking*
- I can has no sleep? *sobbing*
- Robert Pattinson vs Edward Cullen

A clear effect of prolonged school holiday, making even my thoughts sound like they're produced by a total bimbo. You know I watched news on TV longer than usual these days to keep my brain "active". Just to make sure I'm not getting stupid academically or anything.

Speaking of getting stupid, as I browsed old tagged pictures in Facebook, I found some pictures I didn't realize I have. Actually it's more like, I don't remember I had some of my pictures taken at all. Here are a few examples :

Where was this?

What was this?

Why was this?

ROFL.

What's everyone up to this weekend? I wish everybody a really good one. Don't drink and take pictures. I'm kidding. Drink, take bajillion pictures, upload them in your blog, and let me know. I'll give you a high five from the far ( south ) east.

You didn't just SAY that!

On the phone with my nutritionist / Chinese medicine expert, Dr. Jerry. He's very nice and innocent, I feel bad for him for dealing with my craziness sometimes when I'm in one of those self hating days.

Me : Yeah, so I got the feeling that I might have to drop a few pounds. I got hinted that I wasn't as skinny as I used to. Do you have some special traditional herbs for it?

Him : I don't think you've gained weight.

Me : But I got hinted. What should I do?

Him : Ignore it. How are your eating patterns these days?

Me : The usual, wake up pretty late, eating toast or cereals. Then eat again late afternoon.

Him : And snacks?

Me : Okay, I might snack once or twice a week *giggles*

Him : Do you drink the Chinese tea every night before bed?

Me : Always.

Him : And regular exercise?

Me : Okay my bad I'm lazy. Will try to exercise in the future. *cross fingers*

Him : And try not to drink alcohols too.. It affects your blood circulation.

Oh he did NOT just say that. Tell me anything, ANYTHING. Anything but that. Not even a glass or two? Pretty please? We're talking weekly Peach Bellini here, or Sangria, Malibu Pineapple, Amaretto Sour, Sex On The Beach ( yes I do realize how sissy my drink choices are ).

I will so pretend I never heard that.

Will anyone here be having trouble to listen to anyone who tells you to stop drinking your favorite cocktails / liquors?

Ps. Thanks everyone for the very kind comments in the last post, it means a lot. I don't mean to sound needy or anything, but all of you really help in making me feel better.

I know it's girly but..

..Is it normal you feel like you wanna break down when someone calls you fat?

Why do I feel like bursting?

Sorry for being lame and writing this post :(.

Tag me now, Tag me good

One of the coolest things about blogging is sharing with a bunch of great people and doing things together, although virtually. For example, tagging each other in a fun post that will spread around the blogosphere.

Tonight I'm tagged by two beautiful bloggers : Aliya and Angel. The tagging subjects are surely different but I certainly can do two taggings in a post *chugs tequila*. Here are the details :

* Aliya tagged me to write 7 random facts about me. Check out her post on that here. And mine goes pretty much like this :

1. I work in entertainment business, but I love pirated stuff. For example, DVDs. Have I told you it's less than US$1 here? With good qualities and proper subtitles? Twilight was even out in DVD first here, before it hit the local theaters. But since Twilight is too precious for me, I didn't watch it in DVD the first time.

2. My favorite fashion designer is Zac Posen. His dresses are class, but not to the point of overdone so I buy them most of the times.

3. I'm allergic to Durian and I'm bummed out about it. No matter what Durian haters might say out there, the fruit tastes super good and melt in your mouth like ice cream. Give it a try.

4. Ever since I was 3, one of my biggest wishes is having a puppy. But my parents hate all types of furry animals, so one time I bought an iguana and put it on their bed. They yelled at me but I told them they're being unreasonable since the thing has no fur. I lost the battle and grounded for a week.

5. I'm such a lightweight because 2 glasses of cocktails can make me grin like an idiot and do the Cuban Rumpshake. If you wanna know what it is, play some reggaeton tracks when I'm peachy and you'll see what I mean. Be VERY afraid.

6. I love reflexology massage. If I could have it every day, I would. But it wont be good because it has to be once a week or so. It's good for your health and beats any fancy spa massages, that's for sure.

7. I'm Asian but I barely eat rice, with the exception of sushi. I think I'm secretly an Italian due to how much I like pasta.

* Angel tagged me to write about the the most absurd pick up line I have used or have heard. You can read her interesting story on the subject here.

This one was from a couple years ago when I was in Phuket for the summer. I was attending a full moon party and about to buy some pinacolada when this typical blond surfer dude walked to a spot next to me and ordered a beer.

Blond Surfer Dude : You want one?
Me : I want what?
BSD : Beer
Me : I don't drink beer
BSD *smiling suggestively* : Can I offer you to drink something else?

Didn't wanna be bothered, I shrugged, turned away and walked to my friends. He followed me, my friends giggled and gave me a space although I clearly glared for help. I stared annoyingly to the guy.

BSD : You know, You're very tiny.
Me : Gee, THANKS.
BSD : The best things come in small package
Me : But I don't think you have the best things in your small package *walked away*

He of course, didn't approach me again after that. My friends told me he's pretty cute and I was rude, but beach boys with beach looks ( T-Shirt, hawaiian shorts, sunglasses ) are never my types.

Now tell me about your experience with bad pick up lines. How did you respond to them?

Desk Tag!!

I'm tagged by Sheri in this desk tag she invented. It's interesting, she's a genius. You can check her post here.

What you need to do:
1. Post a picture of your desk.
2. Link to the person who tagged you.
3. Write a little bit about the things on your desk or even about the desk itself.
4. Tag as many or as few people as you’d like.
5. Go to Sheri's blog here and leave a comment on the original “Desk Tag” post.

So to start it already, here is my desk :

It's my study room, since my bedroom is more like my own entertainment space and not productive for studying, reading, or writing whatsoever. Those desks are where I'm being my serious self. Working on assignment, writing a song, etc. There was a piano actually on the left side, and an acoustic guitar on the wall. Book shelves are on top with a couch under it. Perfect for studying, if you didn't count the big TV and Playstation(s) that weren't photographed here.

If you asked me why it's pretty clean, that's because I'm still in my holiday so I barely use the desk. I only use the room for playing games these days.

And how do I blog and find stupid stuff off the internet if I barely use that computer on my desk, you say? I'll give you a bonus picture :

Yes that's my bed, baby! With stuffed animals that I'm sure you want to mock ( Come on, say it ) and books I read spread around the corner. I know it made me sound like a lazy messy kid, but it's just so damn comfortable. Try blogging on your bed, the posts might sound more personal than when you do it sitting on a chair somewhere else. And yeah that might also be a reason why sometimes I write dirty things while blogging. My bad.

That's about it. According to Sheri, everyone is tagged. Feel free to do it if you want. But to kick it up a little more, may I ask that I really want to see the desks of :

Cheryl
Angel
Floreta
Jacqueline
Amy
Nitya
Jessica
Amy
ChinkyMel
Erin ( E.Wiggle )

Pretty please with sugar on it?

I'm currently unable to sleep again so I'm off to bed in a few minutes. It's after midnight here and I'm watching Mean Girls for the 10000000000000000th time. I know, it's so fetch. You go, Glen Coco.

Enjoy your day, everyone.

I feel in heaven when I look in your eyes..

Inspired by my previous post that brings me ( and a few other people ) so much memories, I'd like to present you a classic video :

Gayest shit ever..

I love it!

Enjoy! I'm off dancing some more.

Ps. This one goes to the lovely Cheryl for her amusing comment in my last post :

Ah memories. I still like this one better though, one of their best videos involving a couple things I like : rain.. hot guys in the rain.. hot guys unbuttoning their shirts in the rain.. hot guys unbuttoning their shirts and rubbing their bodies in the rain *evil laughter*.

There's seriously something wrong with me.

Good Old Times!

A couple days ago, I received this message in my Facebook inbox.

Ariani Cempaka W
January 17 at 6:32pm
hey girl you’re working with D’Makaveli right? I saw the pics and luv them..the party themes, music and concepts… I think you people are very creative…and seeing the 1920 party you have attended to do you think it’s possible to give me some ideas if I wanna make 90's themed party? Just a house party too so nothing big…do you have tips? Maybe for the music, the costumes, activities, food and drinks… I hope you reply my message…Your tips will mean a lot…thx very much..

I can't help but feeling flattered by the message. I don't know the girl personally but I hope she wrote that because she thinks I work with the one of the best event organizers, and not because she saw my drunk pictures somewhere in people's albums *wishful thinking*.

Now I wont write about what tips for the 90's themed party I gave her here. Since that would be uncool of me to share so called confidential infos she's about to use for her party next week.

I will, however, write about the effect of the message to me : Making me think about the 90's.

I grew up in the 90's and I bet some of you did too. Those are some good years right? Not that now isn't but come on, we must have some good memories about it. The beginning of identity crisis in my case. My puberty was in that era, after some fun kindergarten and elementary school years with a lot of silliness. So unforgettable.

What do you remember from the 90's?

Here are my list :

1. Boy bands and girl bands
I was so into them in the point of obsessed, but which little girls didn't? My favorites were NKOTB ( Jordan Knight), Backstreet Boys ( Nick Carter ), Boyzone ( Ronan Keating ), N*Sync ( Justin Timberlake ), and Spice Girls ( Baby Spice ). Yeah I was in a phrase where me and my girl friends called each other and acted like our favorite Spice Girls members, stalked the group when they were in town, joined the fan clubs ( ouch ), and let's not forget I cried for a week when Ronan Keating got married. LAME. I was 11, I recovered from my addiction soon after.

2. Power Rangers
I have no shame. Every Sunday morning without absence and discussed about it all week. Fought with some girl friends because all of us wanted to be, ahem, ranger pink.

3. Leonardo Dicaprio
Yes I was in Leo phrase too before I got sick of it and not even bothered to watch him until he stopped being a poster boy and starred in some very good movies. Everyone had a picture of Leo back then and drooled over him all the time. I don't like Titanic, but I surely love Romeo and Juliet. Guilty pleasure indeed.

4. 90's Hiphop, Soul and R&B
I love them, although I'm not like ignorant people who only like hip-hop, soul and R&B from certain years. Because in whatever decade, the music might change but it doesn't mean it's bad. In the 90's, I'm into The Fugees, Lauryn Hill, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Nas, Cypress Hill, Bone Thugs and many others. Unlike most hip-hop heads, I'm not really into Tupac or Biggie, although I still listen to them.

5. Dawson's Creek
HA, did you watch it too? Katie Holmes was still the cute girl next door. And this slow paced TV show was actually pretty different than others in the same generation who boasted all the glitters and glamors ( Yeah I'm referring to the old Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and Clueless.. I STILL WATCHED THEM though. What a little hypocrite ).

6. CD and VCD
Cute right? Although I still play CD's now, we can't deny the fact that most people store their songs on flashy little ipods that capable to contain more than 10.000 songs. On the VCD matter, remember when people go to rental stores too each week? Now rental stores, at least here in Jakarta, were pretty much dead because people go to DVD stores which sell DVD's for less than US$1 per movie. Obviously pirated but in a good quality. God bless Asia.

7. Roller skates
Who can forget the period when everyone showed up with their shiny roller blades? It doesn't matter you're good or not while you're on it, you're cool if you had it. This trend was quickly followed by ice skates, people went to the mall and queued for their turns to use the ice rink. I was killer on ice :P.

8. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
They're still famous now but like most people, I love them better in the old days where they actually starred in hilarious shows, rather than showing up everywhere looking like goth hippies and figuring how many lettuce leafs they can eat once a day with the diuretics. Look at Full House, So Little Times, and Two Of A Kind. They're awesome. Can't say the same thing about their movies though, it's always about adventures to foreign countries and meet boys.

9. Tamagochi
I remember I had two or three. One was ruined, one I brought to school, and another one I gave to my maid after teaching her how to operate it. We weren't allowed to play it at school so no wonder my virtual penguin always died. My virtual dinosaur however, since it's being taken care by my maid most of the times, grew big and strong. I was 7 or 8 that time, and news like that easily made me one of the cool kids. Children are easy to please.

10. Loose shirts and jeans
Those were very IN in the early 90's, maybe influenced by the 80's too. Check out TLC's old videos and some old TV shows. There was also the denim overall trend. Gasp. But who am I to decide what's in and what's not. I can only wholeheartedly diss them. After all, there's always fashion items that made you say "Yikes" in every decade. This decade it goes to Kanye West's shades, bright colored jeans, Ed Hardy hats, and many more items including big Chanel logo earrings. What's up with that?

Your turn now.

ps. I wanna say "Happy Celebrating" to my American friends ( or even non Americans who are just happy for the news ). Congratulations for the new President Obama, we just watched the inauguration from this part of the world. It was beautiful seeing lights and happiness in so many people's faces. If any of you celebrate it too, how do you celebrate it? Tequilas? Margaritas? Don't pass out on the floor yet.

Who will you choose?

It's the election year again in beloved Indonesia. After all the euphoria of watching US election last year, Indonesian people are told to be ready for our own massive nation-wide event in the next few months by of course our general election committee. Read more about it here if you haven't rolled your eyes.

I'm a first timer, I never voted in my life because 5 years ago I was just 16 years old. And if you ask me whether I'm excited or not, the answer is no.

Not to sound like a know-it-all but our government makes me feel nothing but confused. Each time. It's not helping at all that I go to law school and learn about the system because I'm still confused. Most of my friends feel the same way, if they understand more than I do then they're usually furious. And I'm not here to give a lecture about government and politic in my country because that might be a huge yawning factor for all of us, and I'm sure everyone has different theories about it. But if that's what you're into you can go here.

And still, not to sound like a complete ignorant, but I really have no idea who to vote. There are about 44 political parties to choose in parliamentary elections and their profiles are promoted everywhere. I'm here reading the detailed profiles one at a time, while drooling Jensen Ackles in TV. Apparently Supernatural is aired here -- wtf off the subject. But it's seriously pretty long that a little yummy distraction wont hurt.

I talked about it with Angga the other day. He asked me who I will vote. I told him I have no idea since Indonesian history has proven that nobody actually could ever be trusted to run a country without creating so many havocs in the end. And if I'm unsure about it then maybe I just don't vote. Then he said this, "I think you should vote. I know it may seem that no one is actually decent morally, but at least you can choose the one who's most capable, rather than giving up your right and let a country being controlled by people without moral and even worse, without capability."

That got me thinking.

Maybe I will vote.

On a lighter but related note, I rather choose one of these fine gentlemen to run a country, check out the article here.

Apparently if your country is about to be ran by hot male models, here are the promises they said :

1. "If I was a president, I want to kill all people who are killing animals."
How cute. I wanna see Anna Wintour get chased by hot male models carrying axes in their underwear.

2. "If I was a president, I will legalize gay marriage."
Not surprised.

3. "If I was a president, I will sort the economy."
By doing what, sugar? To think about it, it's a safe answer though.

4. "If I was a president,I will reduce taxes."
Ah what a wise supermodel president. Now we're talking.

5. "If I was a president, I will try to make everyone healthy."
And he spoke about giving everyone gym memberships. Woop. At least the people in the country will look better. I guess.

6. "If I was a president, I will sort the mess in Middle East."
Swoon.

Such a dream world, they might not get everything done but they might get away with it for being super easy on the eyes. If you wanna listen to it directly ( and watch these ridiculously gorgeous human beings ) then here it is, straight from the Dolce & Gabbana FW 2010 show :

Le swoon resulting in le sigh. Those accents.

What would you do if one of them is your president? Open discussion. Men are also invited to join and share some thoughts. Preach, preach!!!

Ps. Congratulations to all the winners of 20sb Bootleg awards. Fantastic work, everyone.

A Bunch of Thoughts

Sunday officially ended in this part of the world, welcoming Monday with a pout now. How's your weekend? Spill! Anything crazy from the previous nights? Anything interesting? Tell me on the comment form below ;).

I woke up around 12.30 pm with a throbbing headache that can only be cured by silly amount of water and a bowl of spicy soup that hit the center of my brain. I rested for the end of the day but I did a productive thing after all : pimping this blog. I was bored with the old lay-out and looking for something to occupy my time. What do you think?

Lazying around all day surely made me hyper late at night like now, also filled with thoughts. Here are random things in my head I wanna share to all of you :

1. I wonder how cool it would be to star in a superhero movie
Laugh if you must because I do too. But every time I listen to any music I like from any genres these days, I visualize in my head that I play in such movies. Maybe as a super villain, with kick ass power or gifts, preferably mind manipulations. She has to be super sexy, intelligent and at the same time slick with twisted personalities. She has to be stylish too, because what's hotter than a mean vixen all wrapped up in Zac Posen and Manolos? Am I weird? Please tell me I'm not weird. I'm kidding, I know I'm weird.

2. No matter how many nice bloggers I've met in blogosphere, there are still some bloggers who aren't as nice as their blogs
I hope I don't offend a lot of people by saying so, but it's true. It even happens in 20sb, but don't get me wrong because I heart 20sb. I get to read all these magnificent blogs I can relate to from people around my age and talk to the blog writers. But is one of the reasons to register your blog to the site is to get acquainted with other people through their blogs? How could one do that when he or she is being ignorant? Some people in the blogosphere do think they're above the rest. You can tell if they never for once give you a shout back or even a simple hey, either in your blog or in your 20sb page.

I can only assume they don't want to be blog buddies because :
- They don't like my blog, which is actually a reasonable and acceptable enough reason for me.
or
- I don't live in the states. As judgmental as this sounds, one of the bloggers there ( that I now delete permanently from my blog roll ) actually told me that sometimes people wont bother getting to know people in the other side of the continent even just by reading their blogs. What's even more bitter is she pointed out that I'm also from Indonesia, a less familiar Asian countries according to their eyes. So what can I write about living here anyway that can possibly interest them to read and comment? I know, ouch. I don't mean to stereotype people, but I think if one person could say that, there might be more people who might think the same way right?

Whatever though. If people cant be bother to be nice when you're nice to them, don't waste your time. I feel happy enough with all the great people I know from blogging who are actually very kind to me. For today's example : JJ who featured me in this post. Thank you so much.

3. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, separately are very good actor and actress. But when combined into one, they're trend disasters
I giggled when I thought of this, how random. I guess I was watching E! or something this afternoon. But seriously, some of Brad Pitt's movies are great. And so are Angelina Jolie's. Look at The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Meet Joe Black, Snatch, Wanted, and Original Sin. However, all these medias rapidly talk and discuss about them as a whole icon, Brangelina, made me really sick and cant even appreciate them sometimes for their work.

So no, I don't care if one of them cheats, I don't care if they want to adopt more babies and how they decided what countries they should get them from ( maybe through intense eenie meenie mynie moe in front of a world map ). Just cut it out. Gossips are fun sometimes ( I like mocking Lauren Conrad, pshhh.) but not when it gets out of hands.

4. Doing things when drunk are usually more unforgettable
And I know many of you might have done a lot of interesting and memorable things when drunk. Maybe crazy dancing on top of the club speakers? Driving like a street beast under the influence? Or maybe waking up next to some sexy strangers whose names you don't know? My most unforgettable intoxicated experience was doing a fashion show when I was totally tipsy, I blogged about it a few months ago.

Now I'm used to all kinds of drunk rap performances, but never when I have to do a fashion show. Never when I have to put on a couple thousand dollars dresses, strut nicely and smile at the camera. It made me walk pretty funny. In my defense, it was at a club and other models were drinking too ;). It was super fun but I will refrain myself from doing that in the future. No more purple drinks in funny glasses while working.

You can check the video below. See how I trust you with my embarrassing moments? And..can you spot me in this?

video

What about you? What are your random thoughts of the day?

PS. I heard the 20sb Bootleg award voting is closed today. Good luck to all the finalists and their great works.

Oh hello weekend

I'm writing this very drunk, just got home from a cool 1920's themed house warming party and somehow still on fire. I wanna see if I can write a blog in this condition after all.

Today has been such a roller coaster. Spent most of my times in the hospital though because Angga's mom was hospitalized due to heart and asthma problems. I felt sad for her and I felt a sharp pang sitting there in the ICU with people just got brain tumors surgery done and such, maybe I should be grateful once in a while.

Afterwards, we went for dinner and met Ojink and Sally up at Toscana to buy wine for the party. It turned out better than we imagined. Non stop open bars, remixes of 1920's music combined with hip-hop, a lot of people just dancing and having fun. A lot of secrets were spilled though, I said some things I should have not said. But I was just being honest, i hope it didn't bring me troubles later on.

I should learn how to shut up sometimes. The phrase "Messengers will usually get shot" should make me know better.

What did I say. you ask?

1. I finally caved in and told the identity of the slut in my previous post to some of my girl friends. I told them in such a detailed way, they actually felt disgusted with her too. They even had more stories to tell in the mix, only to prove that she's even worse than I thought.

2. I told the girls somebody I know talked shit about one of them, when I should've shut up. That's not my business. But should you tell your friends when someone talked shit about them, especially if you hate that someone too? I don't know. I'm never good at this, I'm usually playing it safe and not saying anything. However, they said it's okay and I did the right thing because that's what friends do to each other. Really?

I might be too confused to continue writing now, that's what 5 glasses of Vodka Orange could do to a lightweight like me, I guess. Have a great Saturday, everyone. I will come up with more interesting stuff to write tomorrow. Night!

Wanna play? Again? ;)

This very cool blogger, LL, tagged me for this game I intended to participate in.

The rules:
- If you wanna play, leave a comment on this post and I’ll assign you a letter
- Write about ten things you love that begin with your assigned letter
- Post it at your place with a link back here
- When people comment on your list, you give them a letter, and the chain continues on and on.

She gave me the letter B. So here are the 10 things that I love for the letter :

Blogging - For obvious reasons. Don't we all here just love blogging? It's an outlet for your every thoughts and feelings. You get to meet a lot of new people with cool blogs that you can read all the time and inspire you. I love observing other people and see if I can relate to them. Do any of you realize sometimes a simple post from blogs you read can make your day? Love it.

Boys - Don't we all, ladies? Best ingredients for dramas in life, yet also the intoxicating designer drugs. You feel like screaming sometimes yet always coming back for more.

Blueberry Muffin - Oh heavens. Don't strangle me yet but I'm more into muffins than cupcakes, unlike most girls I know. Blueberry ones are the ones I like best, I'll eat it everyday for breakfast if I could. But then I only like the top part. Hmph.

Brother Ali - The man is genius, started rapping because the world is apparently cruel to people like him who were born albino. He's also one of my favorite rappers, along with The Rhymesayers crew of course. He knows how to send messages without sounding like preaching and somehow the things he rhymes about are ironically funny. He did this track called The Truth in Jake One's White Van Music with Freeway in the middle of last year and I'm obsessed with it.

Booties - I love booties, especially the ones with really high heels. Every girl will look fierce in a pair of them, and you can practically combine it with everything wherever you go. Sadly booties are not widely accepted for the ladies of Jakarta. Tropical weather, any forms of boots aren't really familiar. But I make my own rules, always.

For the love of Louboutins, it's a must have, get a pair.

Bali - Indonesia's island of paradise, and it's only a few hours away from Jakarta. Isn't it one of the top 10 of places people have to visit before they die? I love everything about Bali. The beaches, the cultures, the restaurants, the hotels, the non stop party scenes, the clubs & bars, the shopping areas, and the fascinating people from all over the world.

Burberry Prorsum - ADORABLE. How could I not love them? It's in all classy colors and very detailed and stylish. Up until now, I'm loving the 2009 pre-fall collections more than the spring ones. Maybe because I always love fall season clothings? Swoon. Call me a party pooper all you want but I'm not really into springs, and more over summer. Yikes.

British a
ccents - Oh yeah, I'm already sweating at Hello. Want an example?

The guy is so deserved to be violated. Another example, maybe you can check this audio post that I really fancy.

Bruno Santos - I'm kinda ashamed to admit I watch too much Fashion TV. He's one of my favorite male supermodels, also a face for Versace and Armani. Sexual orientation is of course, mysterious although he insists on being straight. The guy is such an adonis, it actually hurts just seeing him.

More?

Baileys Irish Cream- Enough said. Especially if you combine it to make Baileys Chocolate Martini. Chocolate comatose at its finest. And let's not forget Screaming Orgasm, shall we? Best enjoyed with sexy significant others in any way you like.

Hmm...

Ha! My mind starts to act up again, maybe I should sleep soon.

I wish everyone have a good weekend, and don't forget if you wanna play this just leave me a comment. Good night!

Oh boys!

So, Seb made this award since men cant be tagged in you're beautiful award.

I know. ROFL.

Here is what he made :

I figure I'll pass it around the blogosphere.

Here are the rules:
1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Award this to as many men bloggers as you like
4. Add links to those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message for your awardees on their blog

This blog is inventive so guys out there can be cute to each other too. Girls are invited to play and give awards too, only you cant tag other girls.

I'm tagging :

1. Sebastian, for inventing this award and made me use the word smitten a lot in any sentences these days.
2. Errant Gosling, for his beautiful and thought provoking posts in his blog. Go check.
3. JJ, for his inspiring posts that motivate me to work harder to achieve what I want in life.
4. Chase, for his interesting adventures in Taiwan.
5. David, for all the edgy intelligent thoughts and very wide fan base. He's a..what we call it..oh, blog celebrity.

Now let's see if the guys can play this game. Tag the men you like to read, ladies! Spread the word ;).

Are you a Rock n Rolla?

"People ask the question... what's a RocknRolla? And I tell 'em - it's not about drugs, drums, and hospital drips, oh no. There's more there than that, my friend. We all like a bit of the good life - some the money, some the drugs, other the sex game, the glamor, or the fame. But a RocknRolla, oh, he's different. Why? Because a real RocknRolla wants the fucking lot."

I was supposed to go to Bang Die's place today with Angga to make some beats together, or record a song. Being productive and everything. Instead we all laid on the couches to watch Rock n Rolla. It's funny how we made a Rock n Rolla themed party last Friday and got around US$ 25.000 or more profit in a night without even watching the movie before. All we know about the movie was just that it has great reviews everywhere and we like the glamour-fame-sex-crime-money kind of gangster lifestyle concepts.

Now that we've watched it, the movie is actually...genius.

I have never been obsessed with Guy Ritchie's work, although Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is one of my favorite movies of all time. But he never made me feel like I wanted to bow down and worshipped him the way Scorsese does.

That, my dear friends, until I watched Rock n Rolla.

The story line is pretty simple : A Russian mob who came to England wanted to build some big but illegal properties so he asked help from an old big time London gangster ( played by Tom Wilkinson ) who pretty much owns the city. He lent his lucky charm painting to the old mob, it ended up stolen by his "dead" rockstar step son. To make it more complicated, The Russian mob's money is also stolen by a local gang of thugs ( including Gerard Butler and Tom Hardy ) who got all the informations from his very own sexy accountant. It happened twice, making the Russians and everyone else angry so they wanted heads on plates and everything.

The movie is starred by a lot of famous actors, Jeremy Piven and Ludacris were in it as well, not in big roles though. The dialogues are funny, a lot of black humor and some pretty deep philosophies told by strong and detailed characters. It's a typical Guy Ritchie movie but slightly different, a lot more stylish and glamorous while at the same time twisted and gritty, just the way I like it. Although some people said it cant match its predecessors, it's still impressive and there's a hint in the ending that the movie will get a sequel. I'm looking forward to it.

Loving it, and of course it has nothing to do ( yeah right! ) with this very smitten Tom Hardy playing Gay Bob very sexily. What is it about British accent that cant keep people on their clothes? When he gave this seductive groan on a phone conversation in the movie, I actually bit a pillow. Or two.

Hello, Sex God. I fancy you. -> Say it in your most obnoxious British accent.

Anybody likes this movie as well? What do you think?

ps. On a completely different subject, I'm invited to a house warming party this Saturday, the dress code is 1920s New York. What do you think I should wear? Please don't say fedora hat because it doesn't do me any justice *wink*. Or is it that I don't do a fedora any justice, hmm? hmmmmm?
