Halloween party

Yesterday night I was invited to my first real Halloween party at Annebeth's house.
I couldn't have been more excited, because I adooore Halloween and all stuff related to it.
Unfortunately it's not that widely celebrated (read not at all) in Belgium. But all you need for an awesome party is just some great minds who think alike.
We carved our own pumpkins and afterwards ate delicious pumpkin soup made out of carving leftovers.
The evening was beyond awesome, we ate, drank and laughed. Halloween food is the best, btw!
The four brave ones, including me, made a walk through the cemetery, while dark. It was more funny than, scary somehow.
To end the night we decided to watch a scary movie. Though only me and Bels sisters really insisted on it.
The rest of the girls tried to convince us to watch a 'less scary' one. We ended up watching 'The Woman In Black' with Daniel Radcliffe. Which turned out to be more lame and badly written, than scary to me. I prefer a real frightening movie! I almost fell asleep during it. We did laugh a lot with it. Girls will be girls, huh?!

Anyhow, I had the best time! I wish Halloween was at least 10 times a year or so!
Here're the pictures from last night.

Part II with our cemetery walk and outfit pictures will be revealed at Halloween.
Have a creepy week, peoplez!

Here, as promised the second part of the pictures of our roaring new years eve party.
We were happy to go back in time, but still be able to use the new technology to capture our trip.
Hipstamatic, Fiji Instax and Nicon were there to make sure the memories were captured forever.
I already cant't wait till the next dress up party!!

My look for the night : H&M dress and a vintage string of pearls

Pretty girls are pretty!

So, here it is, the new year!!
We celebrated it with a bang and in style, the night was roaring!
The twenties is one of my favorite era's, so the dress code couldn't have been more appropriate.
The merry Nathalie from The Merrymakers was the hostess of the night and oh, what a great night it was.
Surely one to remember. We had major fun, ate a lot and danced like the world was going to end.
That's how a party must be!
By now I can hardly fit into my jeans, from all that eating. It never ends. And the orthodox Christmas is coming up this weekend. This means even more food. Oh, God...

These are just the pictures I snapped that night. More to come...
Hope you had a great night too!

Totoroooooo!!!

We couldn't have started the year better and I'm already looking forward to what 2012 will bring.
Keeping my hopes up, the year must be promising!

Have a happy 2012!

Forever 21 Pre-Party Party

Great news for us, Belgian fashion lovers, Forever 21 is coming to our small country.
Two major stores will be opening, first one in Brussels (30 July) and the second one in Antwerp (August).
A big event was organized to celebrate this great news. Lot's of bloggers and press enjoyed a hologram show of the new collection and a great party which ended with a bang on the sounds of Belgian Electropop band Teddiedrum who played a live gig.
This was a party I'll remember for a long time, lot's of nice people, great music and delicious cocktails.
What more can a girl need for a great night out?! The hologram show was pretty impressive. Glad I had a chance to see it with my own eyes. But pretty hard to catch on camera.
A little video to give you an impression of the night and off course lot's of pictures!

Me and my best friendie Nathalie from The MerryMakers
