New in + Fall Wishlist

Since I still don't have a real job, I try to minimize my shopping. Going cold turkey would be hard.
So I try to watch out for promotions and sales on webshops and in stores. Off course I only buy stuff I really want/need, not some impulse buys. This is what I recently acquired.

As I'm crazy about knits I needed that sweater to brighten up my grey/black fall wardrobe. It's pretty warm and cozy, but still looks cool. I also had my eyes on this mint colored collar for some time and since it was on sale I just went for it.

My previous ASOS purchase was back in May. Could it be for me, I'd shop there every week! Recently they had an extra 10% off their whole range. Perfect timing to score some sale items with extra discount!
So I ordered this cute straw cap, I had my eyes on for while and this River Island midi dress in tiger print.
Now I only need an occasion to wear the dress.

Budget shopping:

H&M sweater € 14.95
Mint collar  10
Asos straw cap  € 7.76
€ 2.50 on Asos purchase

Total: € 42.91

There're a few (I'm lying, a lot) of items on my wishlist so I made an inspiration board.

I'm mostly looking for an oversized boyfriend coat in grey. This one is from River Island and I absolutely love it, but it's way out of my price range at £95. A striped shirt is the perfect fall basic in my eyes, never can have too much of stripes! Also exploring pleather pants options. Badass and pretty sweaty, I imagine.
On my wishlist since start of high school (really!) are classic low Converse. As it's already too cold to wear them, I'll postpone buying them for a bit longer.
I've been living in a beanie during the winter for a few years now. On my wishlist is a cat beanie or a cat hat. I dare you to repeat 'cat hat' as many times as you can. FUN right?!
And last but not least, this key bracelet from Fossil. I saw it in store yesterday and fell head over heels in love with it. They also have it in gold, want both, actually! It's quite pricey though :( About £60. This one is going right on my Christmas list.
The outfit combined with these items would be just perfect for a casual day!

What's on your wishlist?

New load of Fall accessories

The money from the closet sale got reinvested pretty quickly, as you can see.
It came in quite handy. The Anna Dello Russo's collection hit the H&M stores week after. I'm a fan of her opulent style, so I'm quite happy to have my two favorite pieces from the collection.
The majority of it was a disappointement, the plastic or cheap metal isn't always a great way to imitate diamonds and gold. Though, some pieces were quite succesful and I'm a fan of the packaging. Gotta love jewelry in boxes!
Now I'm ready for the F/W season with my new accessories. You can never have too much!

Such a cute fella ^^

Turquoise is my new favorite color. Biker jacket love!

Shoplog

Though I've been on a shopping restriction lately, several little purchases resulted in a large amount of new stuff. Big fat fail, yeah! It would be smart not to shop in June anymore, cause sales are just a month away. But my addicted heart is craving so much stuff at this moment. Oh, frustration!
The only way is to freeze my cards, Shopocholic style and never turn on the internet again. Oh, and throw out all the magazines! On the agenda is still saving up for a whole house hold and maybe some more designer stuff. But I'll be just as happy with a limitless Zara budget.
Next Monday we're going to shop for my boyfriend, we'll see what that will bring. Must hold myself togetheeer! Please say you understand what I feel!

In the mean time some additions to my wardrobe and jewelry collection. I could seriously dress a fashion army...

I was out of perfume for a while, but gladly I had some DKNY samples of the limited edition of Be Delicious. Pink Macaron was my favorite, so I decided to buy it. It smells like candy and is perfect for the summer! Couldn't resist those candy spiked bracelets from Asos. Jewelry addict above all!

This kind of shirt was on my DIY list for years, but the lack of time always stopped me. I picked up this pink shirt at Zara. The black one is still on the DIY list, myst do something about it soon!

The Guns 'N Roses shirts have been all over the internet lately. I was looking for one for a long time, but usually I hate most band shirts for several reasons. This shirt is perfect because it really has that vintage feel to it. It could easily come from the 90's. The print is just slightly washed and the fabric is super soft! I lived in it for a few days.
Oh, yeah, and unlike some others, I'm actually a fan of GNR and not just a fashion victim. Going to see them in two weeks, actually.

Cross earrings have also been on my wishlist for years. Gosh, what a long list this is :/ They could be worn together or separately. A perfect match with my GNR tee or the rest of my wardrobe. Crosses everywhere!

You have all kinds of addicts, clothes, shoes, bags, but I guess I'm a jewelry addict. My room is stuffed with it. I also collect brooches. This fella is the latest addition to my collection. He was on sale, due to a slight leg injury, poor thing. No other way than to adopt this little beetle. I love his emerald coat so much!

In the mean time two pair of (free) shoes have arrived, going to show them soon.

London goodies

Today I finally had time to blow off some steam after a busy week. I slept, a lot and spend some quality time with my lover. Also made time for the blog, it's actually obvious, 'cause you're reading a new post...
As promised, here are my purchases from London (finally).
I didn't go crazy, I'm trying to minimize my shopping activity, but I'm still very happy with everything I bought.
Almost all of my items are from Primark as it is budget friendly. I didn't even bother going through all departments of Topshop, 'cause it's huge and quite expensive. I knew that I'd end up buying something anyway, so I only went through the accessories and the shoe department. I couldn't walk out of there empty handed, so I picked up a necklace and a bracelet.

I only bought colored garments in London, I guess I just miss summer.
These two dresses are from Primark. You already saw the dress in the previous post. Can't wait to wear the green one as well. It's made from a sheer fabric, so it'll be perfect for a warmer spring day!

The sweater is also from Primark, I couldn't catch it's right color on camera. It's much darker and less neon, though it also looks good this way. I already wore it this week, so expect an outfit post. That neon yellow thing on top of it is an extension, I bought two of them, also from Primark. I can't wait till the store opening in Ghent next year!

I just couldn't leave this necklace and bracelet, I had to have it,. Both are a nice addition to my skull and bones jewelry collection. Damn you, Topshop and your amazing stuff!

And why spend thousands on diamonds when you can buy those earrings just for £2.5 a pair at Primark.
They just look like old heirloom jewelry, don't you think?!

New in

The sales month finally came to an end. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like sales.
Maybe I even like them too much. All these goodies at sharp prices, just screaming to be bought.
Well, just too often this situation clouded my judgement and left me with an empty wallet and a stuffed closet as a result. But at the start of this year I made a resolution to think twice before I buy something.
It's better to invest in basics which you'll wear often, or save up for a special item, rather than buying a version of something you already possess. I must say I succeeded quiet well. I even resisted on buying anything at H&M and Zara this week.

This time I considered my every purchase and ended up with some great items.
I picked up two cashmere sweaters, both gray. I already wore them in my two previous outfit posts. I'm kind of in love with them, they're so soft and warm. I also bought this dress, I wanted to have a dress with a white collar for quiet a while and getting one for a really low price made it even better!
I also bought a new warm parka, which comes in very handy these cold days. I'll show it to you soon.

And here're all the other purchases:

Starting with some bright colors. I've been loving neon colors for a long time and I'll love them in the future, FO SURE!
So I decided it was time to add some new items to my neon stash. Looking at them already makes me happy and that's exactly what I need during those cold winter days.
Off course I also bought something black, a nice top with an open back. I scored those three items at Zara. Never saw them in store during the season, so it was a nice surprise!

I'm a big music lover and I listen to it all the time when on the go. So a good headphone is necessary.
Well, I didn't buy the Sony headphones at a sale price, but I needed a pair. My iPod headphones broke after a few years of good service. So I bought another small pair, but they just kept falling out of my ears, which irritated me too hard. So I ended up buying headphones that just stick to your head. It's also much warmer when you wear these in the winter.

And that's what was in the previous box. A big silk foulard from Emmanuel Bossuet for 3 Suisses. Emmanuel is a graphic designer who has some incredible work.

The nebula print of the scarf raises my hipster level, but I just love it so much. I was already fascinated by astronomy as a little girl. The endless stars and spaces are the most beautiful and mysterious things to me.

Well, this Karen Millen jacket is my most expensive purchase so far, everrr. I wanted a leather biker jacket, but  found nothing that suited the state of my bank account. Until I saw this one on the Karen Millen webshop. It still was far out of  my reach, so I waited for the sales. They sold out fast and my size wasn't available anymore. On the last day of the sales I decided to test my luck and visit the store in Antwerp. I was lucky and the jacket was there in my size at -50% of the original price. So I decided to make an investment.
I love how it's classic, but still a bit tough at the same time. Just the right thing for me. Can't wait to wear it already! Unfortunately it's still freezing.

I showed you these Essentiel loafers at the start of Fall. I absolutely needed them, but I didn't have the money to buy them right away. They sold out fast and I only found a pair in size 37. I was disappointed to say the least. Big was my surprise when I found them in Antwerp in different sizes. Apparently they came in just days before my visit from another store. Me and my best friend ended up buying them. We have a similar taste when it comes to clothes. Sharing a closet would be so easy with her.

Look at them shine! ^^ Awaiting spring impatiently!

This sales period blew up my savings and I'm going to London soon. I'll tell you about it soon. This promises to be an incredible trip! Off course London means Topshop and Topshop means a sad bank account. I'm already holding my breath.
